The Lunar Series
Inspired by the lunar landscape, these pieces reflect textural contrast, glazed with an oxidized metallic yielding a cratered uneven surface over a high luster smooth black. The interiors are glazed in a rich jasper red. These vessels, all stoneware, hand thrown and glazed by the artist, are accentuated by a tubular neck, suggesting a sensual form.
